Unanswered Access 2010 linking to images

We have an Access 2010 web database (for use with SharePoint 2010) with a table that has an image column.  Rather than insert the images, we want to link to the images that are stored on a remote server.

    1) How do I get the photos to appear, by using the link in a table column?

    2) Is this possible? If not, what other options are there for me?

    3) We also want to reuse these same images in forms for our database.

Thanks in advance!  Not sure if this is the right forum, but couldn't find an Access 2010 forum!

    Hi Penny67,

The only way I am aware that we can add images to a web database is from the Image Gallery.  I know that's not what you're looking for.  I will look into this further to see if we have any other options and let you know either way.

    Hi Penny67,

I was able to confirm we cannot accomplish this with an image control.  However, we can use the Web Browser control and set the Address to the URL of the picture on the remote computer.  One thing to keep in mind is that the Web Browser Control is not supported on a Continuous Form.

    I hope this helps!
