    I  had met a strange problem.

    when I selected the read-only mode to open a ppt from the sharepoint. 

    I had called saveas function to save the ppt to local, the saveas is always failed.

    but if selected the edit mode to open a ppt from the sharepoint.

    the saveas is success.

    if  edit mode can do save as, but read-only mode dont,

    my question is :

     how can I call save as function success if the ppt had been opened from sharepoint with read-only mode.

    thanks for any help.

    I had used Presentation object save as methed.

    Hi,

    Have you get error when you click save as button in PowerPoint?

    Please test with other Office application, such as Word, Excel.

    If the problem still appear in other application, you may check SharePoint site, service or permission.
