OMPM on huge enviorment

Our corporate environment has many servers around the world.
-Running 2003 & 2007 office enviroments with Windows XP.
-Converting to Windows 7 with Office 2010.
Running OMPM scanner on just one file server with 50,000+ files doc,ppt,xls... is taking currently over 24 hours. no errors as of yet, cabs files are still collecting.
Does anyone have any tips,tricks..
I have ot yet done this on such a large enviroment
Also....is this longer then normal? i am the lead on this & the only one doing it

Hi,
Have you turned on the VBA scanner in offscan.ini?
If so, please turn off it.

How important are those files to your business? Do they truly need to be scanned?
