We have a database which generates reports without issue for our Access 2007 users. However when anyone running Access 2010 attempts to run the report all of the dates (formatted as short date) are replaced with ##########. There is a date formatted as long date in the report footer which displays without issue.  I have come across a similar problem in excel due to a 1904 date issue but this does not seem to be the case here.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi,

Based on my test in Access 2010 report, I found that, if the test box cannot show all the content, then it will show ######## in the text box.

So, change to the design view, enlarge the width of the text box, then check whether the issue will still occur.

I can confirm this works, thank you.

I'm a little miffed though that now I have to adjust every short date entry in over 200 reports.

    #*{$$##$!

    Thanks again.
