Has anyone ever stumbled upon this one or something similar?

make sure that you have web analytics configured in Central Administration.
Central Admin > Monitoring > Configure usage and health report and make sure that the "Enable usage data collection" is checked.

Everything is configured as it should be on that page. I can see that data is available through Central Administration "Slowest Pages" and "Top Active Users" page, but accessing Web Analytics Report through regular site throws "Unexpected error". Any other idea?
