    i want to install SharePoint 2010 in my system.but my system is 32-bit where SharePoint 2010 is 64-bit.So can we use Virtual PC to use SharePoint 2010 in my System.is it Possible ?

    Please tell me how can i use SharePoint 2010 in my 32-bit System?

    No, you cannot install SharePoint 2010 in 32-bit system.

    It is mandatory to have a 64-bit hardware and operating system to setup SharePoint 2010.

    You cannot use VirtualPC, but an option for you migh be VirtualBox. Also SharePoint requirements are not only x64 platform but also some system resources - as you will run SharePoint and SQL server on the machine.

    Hi Fadi,

    Thats interesting link.  They have mentioned this note on the TopSharePoint website:

    Keep in mind that hardware virtualization needs to be enabled on your computer, so the CPU has to support virtualization.

    One has to see if your hardware supports this by going to BIOS settings.

    As a precaution, this option is not supported by Microsoft.
