Lookup BDC Data in a workflow

Friday, April 20, 2012 2:08 PMIs there a way in MOSS 2007 workflow to lookup BDC data? I want to set a field in my custom list based on data in my existing BDC list.

In SharePoint, you can create business data column in your list. Then in your SharePoint designer, you can use the column. You can refer to the following link.

But I suggest you use Using SharePoint workflows with Business Connectivity Services (BCS) – Sandboxed Workflow Actions. This is support external list.
