How to search in SharePoint 2010 external list

I have created a SharePoint external content type by using SharePoint designer 2010. Its created successfully, I have added more than 150 items in it, but i don't know how to search a particular item in the list. How can we search in the external list created by SharePoint designer ???

You have to crawl your new content, create a new content source of the type Line of Business Date. Overthere you can select your external data sources.
