Using External Harddisk for SharePoint.
- We are looking at increasing our hard drive space on our MS small business Server 2003 so that we can set up a company SharePoint system. Is there a way that we can run all of our company files on an external NAS system? We will be usinig WSS 3.0. Any help would be much appreciated.

- i'm not shure to understand the quastion,
but, if you want to increase your storage on a system with a NAS system you can use ISCSI, this protocol attach the NAS at system start-up so the system see it like an internal SCSI drive.

- Hello,
Yes you can. As long your SQL database can create DB's on your external storage system.
As Francesco suggested ISCSI work great and I would also recommend it.
