Answered Random SharePoint login screen

    A user where i work has the SharePoint login screen appear when he is not in SharePoint.  He has shut down the computer, rebooted, everything, while is is working in Outlook or another application, the SharePoint login window will appear.

    Any ideas as to why?

    Hi andy,

    What the SharePoint login screen is? Do you mean the Windows Security Dialog? I think that there are some applications attempting to access some resources that need authentication. You may type in the user name and password in the Security Dialog and check the remember credential check box.
