Unanswered SharePoint 2010 Calender & Visio Timeline

    Greetings,

    I'm working with a SharePoint calender which I've connected to a timeline in Visio.
    So I create a recurring event with no end date in my calendar.

    However, only the parent event seems to contain an ID, and hence is the only event shown on the timeline.

    Only when I update the a recurring series item, then that item gets an ID, and shows on my timeline in Visio.

    Any ideas on how I can get the series events to already have an ID so they also show on my timeline in Visio?

    Ok, so the solution I have is to use a timer job that runs each day creating the necessary child events from the parent even, thus creating an ID for each event.

    If anyone is interested, I can post the code here?
