    I have a sharepoint site and right now it has two links internal address and external address.  I just want the search to bring back the external address documents.  When I go to the crawl content I remove the internal address, but nothing seems to come back in the search results.  How do I configure SharePoint to bring back the correct URLs so that whenever anyone does a search it comes back with the same external address URL.  For example external.test.com/shareddocuments/ instead of internal/shareddocuments/.

    Hi All,

    It just hit me to use the server name mapping.  I think this resolved everything.
