Has any of You getting in trouble with the beta Hyper-V in Windows 2008 RTM?

    I have:

I've just installed the role an after a restart end finishing installation, Hyper-V is not functionable:

I get the following error: vmms can't start, if I start it manually it states: The Service changed to an unexpected state - and is still not running.

    Can someone help?

    Hi Attila,

I had same trouble over here. My solution was reinstalling the OS and go with default values so don't change language settings in the installation. Hyper-V will only work if you select "English (United States)".

    You Regards,

    Hi!

If you have already installed in another language you could also try to just change the system locale to English (United States) in the Regional and Language Options, and make sure there are no other languages installed. Also make sure to copy the settings to System Accounts (on same page). This worked for me, and saves you a lot of time reinstalling. Anyway, worth a try!

    Best regards

Tried as Morten said. Worked like a "charm"!

Had norwegian locales installed at first, when I removed these it worked.
