printer driver for window7

  How can I get/install necessary Windows 7 compatible driver for HP Printer M1005 MFP ?
  I tried to install it from driver CD provided by HP, but its does not serve the purpose. Nothing I could find on web as well.

  I understand your frustration in getting the printer to work but is not necessary to post three similar thread. Hmm just a thought, did you try plugging it directly to the comps and power on both comp and printer and see whether win 7 detect and assign driver by itself?
  
  Also could you be more specific when you mention you install the driver cd but it does not serve any purpose? Have you try running the drivers cd under xp or vista compatible mode under win 7 and next run as adminstrator if the above suggestion does not work as in win 7 wouldn't detect and assign driver
