My PC Configuration-Intel Dual Core Processor,2GB Ram,500GB HDD,Gigabyte technology mobo.I have an problem in computer system which is unidentifiable by me & also by my friends who are hardware experts.By starting up the windows, after sometime the HDD led continuously blinks & the application running stops working however the desktop seems to be active (as the gadgets are actively running i.e. the cpu & ram usage gadget reveals normal reading ).This problem occurs as & when i use to start up my system from past so many days.I have purchased my HDD in November.Previous to this new HDD i have lost my two hdd due to same problem as mentioned by me above.Whats the exact problem whether it is mobo, virus, voltage or BIOS problem.
I have used all the windows command such as diskmgmt.msc,chkdsk,etc.But i am unable to find the problem.
Please Help me.I currently using Windows 7.

Hi Jimit,
I would like to suggest you update the BIOS and the motherboard drivers first.
If it does not work, you may also test the issue in Safe Mode and Clean Boot.
What are the results in both modes?
