how to change my URL?
- hi ,
I need to change my url from http://server:80/sites/test to http://prabhu/ .
how to do this? please provide steps......

- you need to configure Alternate Access Mapping!
- Open Central Administration site > Operation > Alternate Access Mapping > Add Internal URL
- Select the Alternate Access Mapping Collection
- Insert the URL http://prabhu
- Save
now you can access the site with the URL: http://prabhu/sites/test

- Remenber that you need to register the new URL on DNS!
