Why should I create a profile?

By creating a profile with us, you can start contributing to all the new applications that we are adding. For example, you can:

  • Post in the forums
  • Upload samples at the galleries
  • Contribute annotations to Microsoft's official library documentation

Your profile is linked to from all of the contributions that you make, so that others can learn more about you. It also shows your recent social activity and your medals/points.

In the coming months, we will add new ways for you to gain recognition for what you do and what you know.

OK, I want a profile. What do I do?

 

and choose a display name for your profile. Then customize your profile by adding information and choosing your own avatar image. If you don't have a Windows Live ID, go to http://account.live.com and click Sign Up.
