Daniele Muscetta’s journey with computers and software started when he began programming on a Commodore 64 at the age of ten. Daniele preferred to write programs on his Commodore 64 rather than playing games with it like the other kids did. Daniele has worked at Microsoft for 7 years as a Premier Field Engineer who specialized in both System Center Operations Manager and scripting technologies such as VBScript and Windows PowerShell. After that, in 2011, he relocated to Redmond to join the System Center Operations Manager team as a Program Manager in the System Center team, where he has driven a lot of the .NET Application Performance Monitoring (APM) functionality and other areas of the product in System Center 2012, SP1 and R2. Later he drove the design and implementation of the backend for Application Insights (now a preview feature exposed in Visual Studio Online). Currently he is working on System Center Advisor.
