If you use the command prompt frequently, make it easily accessible by pinning it to the Start Menu and the Taskbar. To pin Command Prompt to the Taskbar or the Start menu, do the following steps:

  • Click Start button, type cmd in the Start Search box, then right-click on CMD, and choose Pin To Taskbar.
