  • I count 576 MSDN forums, of which 4 are Moderator only and probably should not be included in the total. I count 450 TechNet forums, of which 3 are Moderator only. Are there other MSDN forums that should not be included? If so, my number for TechNet might be too large.

  • Thanks Richard. I think there's at least one more site out there that's like ASP.net and IIS.net, but I just cannot remember it right now.

  • Richard, did you include archived forums? I wouldn't include those. Thanks!

  • When I skip archived forums (and also moderator only forums) I get 442 MSDN forums and 433 TechNet forums. I don't trust myself to count that high, so I copied the info to a text file and used a script to count the forums (and skip the groups). But when I manually counted archived forums in MSDN I got over 130.

  • That's awesome. Thanks Richard!

  • Thankz richard, keep updating this article.

  • I added the Xbox forums.

  • I filled in all the links and info. I know there's at least one more site out there, in the same "style" as ASP.net and IIS.net.

  • I added Office 365
