The Community Council is modeled on the Ubuntu Leadership Code of Conduct, whose “foremost goal is ensuring that their team members and team succeed.” Early tasks the Council will take on include clarifying policies around plagiarism and non-English content.

As of 10/10/2011, members include: Microsoft employees Kim Ditto-Ehlert Artem Pronichkin Yuri Diogenes Charlotte Raymundo MVPs Mark Parris Arnie Rowland Kelly White MCCs Luiz Henrique Lima Campos Members serve for one-year terms. New terms begin in April of each year. There is no limit on the number of consecutive one year terms a member may serve.
