Issues with Map for Hawaii - Kauai County RRS feed

  • Question

  • Every time I attempt to map the state of Hawaii, it adds a small portion of the zip 96766 way out in the ocean. It shows as being literally hundreds of miles away from the main cluster of islands. As a result, the majority of land mass in Hawaii is way down in the lower right hand corner and miniscule. Is there any way to remove this portion of the state? Removing the zip data doesn't fix.

  • Hi,

Considering that you ask the question in Office 2016 for Mac forum, are you using Excel for Mac?

Could you provide more information about the data source you use to create map chart? If I have your sample, it may help me better analyze the issue for you.

There is an official articles on Map chart for your reference: Create a Map chart in Excel

There is a known issue where Map Charts which make use of Geography Data Types can sometimes map incorrectly. Please try to include Admin Fields, such as Province or Country when attempting to plot these until the problem is fixed.

Any updates, feel free to post back to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Herb
