How to synchronize MS Project with SQL Server without Projectserver? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to create a system:
    - MS Project 2016 Descktop;
    - MS Excel;
    - SQL Server;
    - Web Forms;

    I would not like to use Project-Server.

    Logics:
    1. Projects are stored in SQL Server;
    2. The user can work with projects using "MS Project 2016 Descktop";
    The user can execute CRUD commands. All changes are synchronized with SQL Server.
    3. The user can work with projects remotely using "Web Forms";
    The user can execute CRUD commands. All changes are synchronized with SQL Server.
    4. "MS Excel" is used to read data, build reports (dagrams, dashboards).

    Questions:
    1. What components to use to build such a system?
    2. How to make to receive only changes, but not the whole project?
    In other words:
     - the user has made changes to the client ("MS Project 2016 Descktop", "Web Forms");
     - the program sent only changes to the database, and not the entire project;

    I am interested in the short answer.
    If it will be possible to write in more detail, I will be grateful for the details.
