Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving time check box disappeared RRS feed

  • Dear Team,

    I just want to fix the Daylight Saving , there was an update installed automatically on all the machines let the “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving time ” check box disappeared ,

    What I want to do , is to find another update to deploy it thru the WSUS to fix this issue , and make this check box appear again

  • You might need to use GPO's or some script (via SCCM) for this. WSUS is used for software update deployment, and you wont be able to deploy anything else then updates from it.

    Have you tried to deploy updates mentioned in the link below to fix this issue, it depends on the time zone


    The following update is related with DST since 2010


    As described in the KB above, Windows stores time zone information in two locations in registry

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones

    So you can also manually restore the time zone to original state by editing the registry, pleaes refer to the detailed steps in KB 914387.

    Please first backup the registry because any incorrect changes on registry might cause unexpected damages.
