Windows 8.1 RTM incompatibility with APC Powerchute Business Edition V9.1.0 RRS feed

  • Installed Win 8.1 Pro RTM over Win 8 Pro and APC Powerchute Business Edition stopped working.

    Calling the local interface in IE11 with http://machine-name:3052 triggers the secure HTTPS://machine-name connection but then out. Reinstalled the latest Agent v9.1.0 and still no joy.

    Interesting is that I can call an non local agent in the LAN without any problem. Seems there is an issue with local loopback only.

  • You may have to create a loopback  exemption. Here is the description and a GUI tool that can be used:
