Flat file disassembler behaving inconsistently RRS feed

  • Question

  • In my BizTalk application, I have a comma separated flat file being received as input and I have applied a flat file disassembler pipeline at the receive port. The issue is there are times when the flat file is not being converted to xml properly (Certain xml nodes are getting repeated in the disassembled message). This is happening about 3 out of 5 times and the rest of the time, a proper xml is being generated. Is there any issue with the flat file disassembler pipeline component provided with Biztalk 2013 R2 version?

  • 99.99999%, there is some subtle difference in the CSVs you are receiving or the Schema does not fully match the CSV options.

The Flat File Disassembler simply will not randomly behave differently.

  • As Johns said, there must be a mismatch between your schema and the actual payload that causes the issue

However without both a schema and some example files, it would be impossible for us to diagnose. If you could add those then we can help.
