User based internet access RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am new to Azure and want to achieve the following:

Recently i deployed an VM (windows server 2016) on azure and by default it has complete access to internet and public sites. I want only admin to have this access to internet and websites and restrict all other users from accessing public websites.

Please let me know how to achieve this.

    Thanks in advance

  • If you have an on-premises environment, you can use force tunneling (more at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/vpn-gateway-forced-tunneling-rm) . Otherwise, you'd need to implement a proxy, the same way as in a typical on-premises environment (such as https://azuremarketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/apps/diladele.websafety )
