Adding Custom Entities for CMPivot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Silly question, how can we add our custom entity to existing entity list that comes with CMPivot?

We already have SCCMCB 1906 in our environment.

    Thanks.

Answers

  • This is not correct. As of 1810, any custom hardware inventory classes will be shown as entities within CMPivot and can be used exactly as all of the built in entities.

If we can't customize the existing entities, we can't create news. It's not supported too.

For more details about CMPivot: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/servers/manage/cmpivot

You can create a script and run it on a device collection, more details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/apps/deploy-use/create-deploy-scripts

  • Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback.

But I'm afraid that it is also not supported. As mentioned above, all supported entities are listed at the page.

    Ray
