Enable UE-V via GPO and register InboxTemplates (problem: user has no admin-rights) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I tried several things to get UE-V enabled just by using Group Policies. I realised it's the "Enable UEV" setting that makes UE-V working after the first reboot: that's working fine.

Unfortunately the InboxTemplates are not registered using "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\UEV\Scripts\RegisterInboxTemplates.ps1": it is triggered by a scheduled task named "UE-V Register Inbox Templates". But this tasks runs with user rights and so never gets the tempates registered in my case.

Any idea how this should work? Of course it works, if an administrator logs on manually once to each computer, but that does not really make sense, right?

    Thanks,
    Torsten.
