  • Hi guys. my old Compaq desktop, using AMD processor, Windows 10 1903 black screens on me sometimes. it's also slow. all the internal hardware diagnostics passed. this is so frustrating. any kind of help will be appreciated. thanks.

    This is what was recorded at the event viewer:

    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bug check was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffff848935dd2038, 0x00000000b6000000, 0x0000000000010015)

    How old id your computer? Did you check for Windows 10 compatibility before installing it?
    The
    0x00000124 (WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR) bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred; the value of the first parameter indicates a machine check exception, which could be due to the CPU.
    Upload the .DMP file created by Windows to your OneDrive, make it publicly available and post the URL here so we can analyze it and try to suggest you a solution.

    The computer is about 5years old and Yes it is compatible windows 10. I have been using windows 10 on this computer for the past 2years.

    The following link has the .DMP file created by windows. If anybody can analyse that .DMP file to the probelm & the solution that will be great. thanks guys.

    Unfortunately, the memory dump file is partially corrupt, an accurate analysis is not possible; the only thing I can state for sure is that the CPU is someway involved, because of the value "0x0000000000000000" of the first parameter.
    Check the system's behaviour and post again the memory dump file in case of any other event like that.
