    In mostly failed smsts.log file i found this line _OSDDetectedWinDrive='', _OSDDetectedWinDir='' what does it mean ?

  • It simply means that it didn't find an existing installation of Windows on the system.

    Agree with Jason, this is not the reason that cause the TS fail. The task sequence scans the computer's hard drives for a previous operating system installation when Windows PE starts.  The Windows folder location is stored in this variable _OSDDetectedWinDir.  The hard drive location for where the operating system is installed is stored in this variable _OSDDetectedWinDrive.
