  • Hi,

    I need print are redirected to an LPR printer to a File printer

    It's confused about your description. Please give us more detailed and logically information.

    Do you mean in Windows XP, we can add a new port in File-> Server Properties-> Ports-> Add Ports?

    If this is the issue, please see the information below:

    ====================================

    In Windows 7, we have no Server Properties options. But we can also achieve the same goal by using the following two methods:

    Method 1: Right click one of the local printers and select Printer Properties. Click Ports-> Add Port…

    Method 2: In Control Panel, click Administrative Tool and select Print Management. Then open Print Servers and select the local machine. Then right click Ports and click Add Ports…

    If it's not like that, please correct us and let us know the exact error message.
