Action Center - Reliability History Not Updating? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I've noticed that the Reliability History hasn't updated since 10/12/13.

    Any ideas?

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit) RTM

  • Hi,

For this issue, it may be caused that the Reliability Monitor database has become corrupted.

I suggest you try the following steps to test it.

1.Press Win+R, and type the following text into the text area:

    2. Click RAC from the results list

    3. Double-click the PublishedData folder and select and delete all the files in that folder

    4. Click the Back arrow to

    5. Double-click the StateData folder and select and delete all the files in that folder

    6. Close the Windows Explorer window.

If the issue persists, I suggest we try System Restore to check if we can get rid of this problem.

  • I've deleted the PublishedData folder contents, but it wouldn't allow me to delete the contents of the StateData folder...saying they were in use.

It looks like the reliability history has been reset, with nothing showing there...as if I had just installed the OS for the first time.

I'll watch it to see what happens over the next week.
