Converting MPP to SDEF Format RRS feed

  • Is there are way to convert a Microsoft Project 2019 to a SDEF file format utilized by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers?

    Microsoft has always kept the details of the MPP format closely held such that conversions to other formats is limited to those listed as file type in Save As. So unless someone else jumps in with a trick or workaround, I'm afraid the answer is no.

    As John correctly indicated, there is no built-in method for converting a Microsoft Project MPP file to a SDEF file.  However, I did find this reference to a software tool that you might be able to use:

    You would probably need to consult with a software developer to see if this method will work for you.  Hope this helps.
