Sleep from CMD on a windows 10 Surface pro device RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

Trying to research with no luck, But i would like to find out if  there is anyway to put a Windows 10 surface pro to sleep from command prompt. I tried the usual "powercfg -hibernate off" and then trying rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0. but i would use the commands and nothing would happen. I also tried using PsShutdown  using the command psshutdown -d and it would say the surfgace is not compatable.

In the end i would just like to multiple Surface pro's go to sleep from a set time then wake and go back to the exact place it was before it slept.

    Thanks, Blake
