How to install SQL Server machine learning R on Server Core? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm trying to install Server machine learning R on our SQL Server that is Server Core 2012. I'm not having much luck because it looks like I need to use a CAB as well because this has to be an off line install as well.

Has anyone successfully done this on a Server Core server and off line? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried silent install with no luck.

    Thanks

  • Take a look at this post which discusses how to do a offline install from the *.CAB files:

    This should work for you.
