Cockroaches RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've got virtual cockroaches eating my screen.

Ended up buying a product called Paretologic (XoftSpy).  Did both a spyware/adware cleanup and Registry cleanup.  Then I ran the free Microsoft malware cleanup.  Now my computer is running a lot faster and I'm not getting warnings from Microsoft and Norton.

HOWEVER, I still have cockroaches eating my screen.  Yikes!!!

Anybody heard of this or know of a cure?

  • About ten minutes after I posted this I realized that it was a screen saver added to my computer.  I assume that the anti-spyware/adware didn't pick it up because it is not malicious.

    I've changed the screen saver.

Anyone know how to remove a screen saver?

  • Try to remove it from Add/Remove Program or programs and feature it might detect as Joke program please report it to Symantec and you could submit screen server to:

    https://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Submission/Submit.aspx

If you have installation file but in case that you don't have it then you may contact support if you face any problem again.
