    I restored my computer recently and it says i should type in my activation code but when i typed it i receive this "error code 0xc004f058 and says "reported computer BIOS is missing a required license". Please how do i solve this problem as my microsoft is genuine but my computer don't work and i can only access my computer with reduced functionality.
    Operating System: Windows Vista
    Note i have been on the solutions to this problem in which i am supposed to press the start button and right click my computer, but when i right click my computer in order to activate windows nothing happens. and my microsoft button on my laptop, to get the start menu does not work when i press it so cant go to the start menu. Please someone help me.

    Although I can't ber certain, it would appear that you might be trying to install an OEM Vista from a different vendor to the computer (i.e trying to install a Dell OEM Vista on an HP machine). Vendor specific versions of Vista will only install on their own brand of machines.
