HP TPM errors RRS feed

  • Question

  • During a wipe and load from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on a HP using sccm TS, which in enabling the TPM, enabling UEFI and converting from Bios to legacy what can cause the TPM.msc to display "The tpm is ready for use, with reducded functionality. Information Flags: 0x100. The TPM owner authorization is not properly stored in the registry". Also as soon as I log on to the system I am prompted with the following window. I also have a Pre-provision BitLocker step before the Apply Operating System step and a Persist TPM Owner after the Apply Operating System step. The TPM is on in the Bios. No matter what I change in the TS I see the same results. But if I clear the TPM from the TPM.msc and reboot bitlocker will start encyrpting the drive via Mbam. ng in the TS. FYI These systems under Windows 7 never had the TPM enabled for use. We are simply turing it on for use with Bitlocker\Mbam
