Error in web application. Folder Permissions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. I have a web application that takes a photo and saves it on the same server with extension .png. Change the server (earlier Windows 8.1) and now it is running with Windows 10 Pro and IIS 10.0.18. The problem is that now it doesn't allow me to save the photo in the folder.
I get the following error when wanting to store the photo on the server:
Status Code: 500 Internal Server Error
    Version: HTTP / 2.0

The web application is made in c #, and uses jquery-3.0.0.min.js.

When you want to save the photo in the folder on the same server.

    Any help would be great.

    Thank you.-

  • Where is the folder located? The location may be protected.

Also be aware that Windows is stupid when it comes to file and folder protection... AKA it matches names instead of paths.
