  • Is it possible to setup Microsoft Security Essentials on a Server and deploy to clients to replace paid Anti Virus options.

  • MSE is only for home users and small business.. No such servers are available..

    "INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS.

    1. Home Use. If you are a home user, then you may install and use any number of copies of the software on your personal devices for use by people who reside in your household.

    2. Small Business. If you operate a small business, then you may install and use the software on up to ten (10) devices in your business."

You have to look for enterprise product... such as Microsoft System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection, Forefront Products etc etc..

  • You can install MSE individually to clients and you can deploy the updates as you do normally with Windows. But there is no MSE server.

If you want a centralised tool, it can be as suggested by Hetti Arachchige V Aravinda.
