Audit mode according to Unattend.xml RRS feed

  • Question

  •  Tim has told me ,if i start Audit mode ,as if by sysprep / generalize /audit /reboot , Windows will go to Desktop in Audit Mode each time it is restarted , untill sysprep /OOBE is invoked.
    Above question is based on manual operation.
    If I use unattend.xml , i have some confusion to WSIM reference . As it depicts, if i set as below
     <settings pass="oobeSystem">
               <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Deployment" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="
    http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

                <Reseal>
                    <ForceShutdownNow>false</ForceShutdownNow>
                    <Mode>Audit</Mode>
                </Reseal>
     <settings>

    That means Operating System will never enter OOBE , iterates between Audit System and Audit User ,doesn't it???Untilll I remove this section?????

  • I think you are right; the .xml file indicated not to be forced to shut down now and the mode is Audit.
