  • I suggest you contact NET Support as you'll need to find out what connection options that box supports: http://www.net.com/Pages/ContactUs.aspx?pgid=75#Service_Support.  I have only configured the VX1200 using a T1 connection to other PBX gateways (e.g. Cisco 2800).

You may want to try just configuring the box as desired without connecting the link and then attempt to make outbound calls from OCS.  Enabled logging on the VX to look at the SIP traffic to verify that it appears as expected and with the desired number patterns.  Enter 'enable' mode from the command line on the VX device and then enter "trace all level info 0" to watch all SIP traffic.  Then use "trace no" to turn it back off.

  • If your VX is licensed for it you could configure a sip phone (like SJPhone) to register to the VX and test call flow between your sip endpoint and OCS. It's added complexity but would allow you to verify the VX is properly talking to OCS.
