Any special steps to upgrade to OS on the MBAM application server? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're on MBAM 2.5SP1 but our application server is on a 2008R2 OS. I'm wondering if we can simply upgrade the OS or if there is anything special that we have to do for the MBAM piece.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I can't say I've done it, but pretty much yes. MBAM is simply a few web services and web sites hosted in IIS. The worse thing that can happen is that you reinstall these using the existing databases.

  • Thanks. I didn't think it would but I thought I would double check.

    Thank you!
