Event ID 10 on every boot after installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with integrated SP1 german (technet iso) RRS feed

  • Question

  • after installing Windows 7 Ultimate X64 with integrated SP1 (source ISO from technet subscription) I get the following error on every reboot:

    Event ID: 10
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950375/en-us still the soluition for this? why is this "bug" coming again in windows 7 with integrated sp1? this was already solved in vista with integrated sp2.

    Best Regards,
