SSA is incompatible with Application Virtualization (App-V) RRS feed

  • Question

  • We just migrated from Symantec to Forefront and even though I love the Security State Assessment feature, it is incompatible with Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V). The problem is that App-V installs a virtual Q: drive that has the RAW file system (i.e. non-NTFS). The SSA file system check misinterprets this as a vulnerability. It results in:

"Number of local drives that are not using the NTFS file system: 1"

That drive is the Q: drive that App-V needs. It's a virtual drive. This happens on every single machine on our network.

    Any way around this?

    Cheers,
    Rickard
