sql compliance alert in scom RRS feed

  • Hello Friends,

    I am facing the sql service pack compliance error like "

    Unhealthy state is caused by the service pack level not being at the required level (3 is the default), in SCOM server for the few servers that where sql is configured. please be help to fix this .

    Some urgent, appreciating your acknowledgement.

  • Hi,

     

    For this issue, we can try changing/applying the latest service pack to SQL Server
    Alternatively, if the current setting is valid within your environment:
    -Override the monitor to change the required value for this specific instance of SQL or all instances
    -Disable the monitor for this specific instance of SQL or all instances

  • As said Crystal, this alert is simply telling you that your SQL servers are not up to date. You can patch them or disable that monitor, as you prefer.
