The Health Service could not log on the RunAs account DOMAIN\user for management group XXX RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all!

I have changed my password and my user was set as "RunAs" account in SCCM, but was not set to any connector or somewhere else. When I changed my password, I had to change it always in SCCM. Now I removed my account from there, but I'm still getting locked from the SCCM server, even if I removed my user.

In the eventlogs I have the following error:

The Health Service could not log on the RunAs account DOMAIN\user for management group XXX. The error is The user name or password is incorrect.(1326L).  This will prevent the health service from monitoring or performing actions using this RunAs account

Where can I find this management group which is mentioned in the error?

    Thanks!

    BR,

    Strahinja

  • Your issue is not "SCCM" related, it is Operations Manager related, sometimes referred to as SCOM and thus you need to post in a System Center *Operations* Manager forum. Note that this is one reason to never use SCCM or SCOM though as they are too easy to mix up (that and SCCM is not accurate anymore since ConfigMgr was moved out of the System Center suite of products).

  • Hi,

As Jason said, since this is a SCOM related issue, it is better to post in SCOM forum for a dedicated Support, here is the link:
