Is there any web portal for SCVMM 2019?

Question

Hi guys,
I need find a way to give the support teams access to virtual machines with limited functionalities. In the past we had the self server portal and the app controller which worked pretty well for this task. Is the any option for the SCVMM 2019? Could find it anywhere.

Hi,
Unfortunately there's no web portal for SCVMM 2019, the self service portal & app controller was deprecated after SCVMM 2012 R2.
The replacement for the self service portal is a new HTML based self service portal in Service Manager.

Hello,
You can use the Azure Pack, which can provides the web-based management portal for tenants and administrators.
For the introductions about Azure Pack, please refer to the datasheet by clicking the following link.
In addition, you can visit the website below for the documentation about Azure Pack.

Hi, I have Azure pack on a lab environment and it doesn't seen to be the best solution, I am not trying to build a multitenant cloud solution for customers. I just wanted to give limited access to the support team without having to install VMM on their machines just like Vmware does with vsphere web client. Thanks.Thursday, January 30, 2020 12:53 PM

In your case I'm afraid your only option is to install the VMM console for your customers.

Hello,
The best way is to install the VMM console.
As far as I know, there is no API provided for SCVMM, otherwise, you may develop a simple web portal by using API.
Currently, you only can use the PowerShell cmdlets.
