  • How do I ensure that all emails are deleted permanently and not stored for later use.

I don't need to reclaim emails I have already eleted and don't want them accessed possibly by other parties

Based on my understanding, you are trying to delete emails permanently, right?

Right-click the Deleted folder and empty folder, it will delete these emails permanently.

  • Hello David.

This question should be asked in the Outlook.com Microsoft Community Forum, which is more appropriate for this topic.
As far as I know, the only way for you to be sure that your e-mail messages are deleted is to periodically check the Deleted folder and completely empty it.
Also remember the deleted message could be recovered by executing a built in procedure (read here to know more about that) that is available in the Hotmail mailbox: try executing that operation on a regular basis, in order to verify that there are no messages recovered.

    Bye.
